Our focus is Drama in education and specifically, the engagement of movement in the body through acting.

Students are taught to analyze, breakdown and understand scripts. Part of this process is the creation of their own characters. This is done either through text-based plays or through their own self-devised scripts.

Poetry, script-writing, story-telling and song are all elements that we encourage in our style of theatre training. Pink Gajah encourages students to enter a world where all paths of creation are possible, eliminating a text-book approach to creating theatre. 

We are a colourful and innovative company and want to create openness in the classroom for students to explore and expand beyond the norm of what one thinks his/her limitations are, be it in the body or mind.

Students will be given opportunities to apply these skills into facilitated performances.
